INVITED SPEAKERS


DATA PROJECTORS
  • Beamers (data projectors) are available in each conference room but you will need to bring your own laptop or borrow one from a colleague as PCs are not provided in the conference rooms. The beamers have VGA connectors


POSTER SIZES
  • Poster boards are portrait configuration: 1m x 2m
  • Tape, pins and blu-tac will be provided, as well as storage for posters

WIFI

  • WIFI access will be available and your unique log in will be included in your conference bag.
  • There is also a computer room open from 9am-4pm

VOLTAGE AND ADAPTERS
  • Voltage in Germany is 230v operating at 50 Hz frequency (North America is 110-120v, and in most European countries it is 220-240v with attempts to standardise on 230v).

  • Please note that equipment bought in from North America and South America may need a voltage converter as well as a plug adapter. Your equipment might have come with an international cable, but please check carefully to avoid equipment damage!
  • UK equipment with 3 pin rectangular blade plugs (type G) will also require plug adapters. You can buy universal adapters and converters at most airports.
